In his works Alexander regards law as a set of ordered discourses, a set of texts and silences which are capable of influencing the society. The connection between law and society is basically studied by Alexander in its gender turn. It is in gender studies where a wide range of critical legal thinking is possible as well as queer-studies and the researches on rights to sexualities. Graduated from International Institute for the Sociology of Law in Oñati (2010).
